Description:
'Trabajito me ha costao' (whichs means something like 'It took me a great deal of work to get it') is the fourth album of Cádiz based band Maita Venda Ca, a name which in Caló jergon means 'my mother is Gypsy'. The lessons learnt in the previous years have given them more self confidence to do what they really know best, which tend to coincide with what the public wants. In 'Trabajito me ha costao' the band continues showing their ability to inspire themselves in whatever element they have at their reach which is the case of 'La luna bordá en el río' [The moon embroidered in the river]. This albums has all the qualities that have made of this band one of the top sellers in their genre in Spain, based on a variety of styles and power in the way they perform. The album has yet more surprises lik the ballad 'Te fuiste tú', with some other tunes made of Brazilians rhythms and other spices slowly cooked by the memebers of Maita Vende Ca.
