The career of the National Ballet of Spain during these last 25 years has been marked by its constant success as the greatest ambassador of the Spanish dance around the world. Its influence on the Spanish dance evolution, on the dance techniques permanence and on the stylistic forms continuance has been crucial.
The National Ballet is a real support to the protection and the spreading of the choreographic repertoire of the Spanish greatest masters. The National Ballet has encouraged creativity among the young and talented choreographs, being also useful to establish a lot of dancers who are today working for their own companies. They are international artists, present on the best stages of our cultural environment.
"I firmly believe that the Spanish dance history , including its main characters, could'nt have be written without an intimate link to the life of the National Ballet of Spain." (Andrés Amorós. Inaem)
